1. Drake Neighborhood Association--information about the neighborhood around Drake University in Des Moines. Each year, our Greek Food Fair and the Association's Historic Homes tour work together to bring history and good food to the Drake area. 2. Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC) is "an interfaith organization that exists to provide a common means of responding to basic human needs in ways single congregations can not do; also providing a context for interfaith dialogue, support, education, and fellowship and serving as a liason between DMARC member congregations and the greater Des Moines community." Our congregation is a member of DMARC. 3. Iowa Council for International Understanding is a organization working to "link Iowans with people from all cultures and countries around the world." ICIU publishes the Greater Des Moines Multicultural Resource Guide, available both in print and online. The link will take you directly to the online version.
